Robert Roesch began his artist journey at the Pratt Institute in New York City. From then he has received several grants, including a Fulbright Specialist Award to lecture and exhibit throughout Japan in 2007; and then was asked to represent the USA in the 2009 Baku Biennial. Roesch’s sculptures produce a power and grace by morphing form and rhythm in swift connections. The angular elements of his works lead the viewers eye from one moment to the next. His works are inspiring to the eye, allowing the viewer to experience multiple moments of tension and release. His works are represented internationally in places such as Egypt, Japan, and Syria; as well as museums across the U.S. including City Arts, Tera Gallery, and the Sande Webster Gallery. He also has commissioned work represented at Grounds for Sculpture, Paper Museum, Kyoto Institute of Technology Museum, and the Wichita Museum of Art.
All are welcome to this free, public event. Refreshments will be served.
For more information about Robert and his works, feel free to visit his artists page here.
