Visit the studio of Barbara Bullock with art historian, Jennifer Zarro, PhD. Meet the artist and gain a deeper understanding of her art and its evolution. Barbara Bullock's colorful paintings and sculptural paper collages have been exhibited widely and are in the permanent collections of numerous museums and institutions. Her artwork is often inspired by myths and stories from African and South American cultures and is noteworthy for the exciting ways she pushes the boundaries between painting and sculpture. One of Bullock's earlier works is included in Woodmere's exhibition, We Speak: Black Artists in Philadelphia 1920s- 1970s.
