Shira is a painter, living and working in Philadelphia. She received her B.F.A from Syracuse University and completed the Advanced Fine Arts Program at Studio Incamminati where she is currently a Fellow. Her paintings reflect her belief that beauty is inherent in everyday people and objects. Her painting, “White Onion” was a finalist in International Artist Magazine's 2017 Still Life Challenge. Her painting, “One Fish” was awarded Third Place in the Richeson75 International 2017 Still Life & Floral Competition.
